I've been wanting a Genius Pack carry-on for a long time and finally splurged on it!

Unfortunately, I haven't used it yet, but will be using it beginning next week for 2 vacations. Will update my review afterwards. It looks awesome!

Good choice

This is my third piece of luggage, I have total of five pieces. I was looking for lighter bag that expanded (than my go to from another mfg.) Yours came a long at just the right time for a one week trip to Europe. Very happy with my decision.

Has some great features like built in pockets

I already have a soft side carry on by Genius and loved it. I was hoping to get a medium size in the same color and product. They no longer make the soft side. So I got the hard shell. It is ok but I miss the built in umbrella holder, the zipped pocket in the outside for easy access. Also had to get the black because it was the only color offering for the large and medium size. Please make the medium available in the different colors! The best traveling arrangement for a long trip for my husband and I is a carry on for both and a medium check in for both. I was not able to get that configuration in the color I wanted. The large is very hard to get lined up and zipped with no give on the hard shell. Also the handle on the mid size and large could be longer. I slip a purse over the handle for ease through an airport

Wish is was like my last one

While the bag is good, I wish it was more like my last one. The hard shell doesn't allow as much room, and I always appreciated the outside pockets. Plus, the separate laundry bag was great, which the new one doesn't have. TBH, I regret buying this new one because it's just so different from my last Genius Bag. I had to buy a new one because the wheels stopped working on the old one. The wheels on the new one is great, though!

replacement case from original

The case is fine. With that said I really wish the expandable had the USB charger. Thought it did thats why i purchased. Also would have been nice to somehow have the umbrella holder like my previous one. I realize it is a hard case but maybe some solution. Really like the umbrella holder.
